EVERY musician AGREE that class AB power vacuum tube guitar amplifiers have been refined in the 1950s with the design Fender Bassman 5F6-A.Over the years since its inception, many manufacturers have tried to improve this circuit, but the basic layout has changed much.The purpose of this project is to understand this classic amplifier design, assess what difference I want in a guitar amplifier, and using a Spice simulation, attempt to adjust the circuit so as to achieve the desired sonic result, thus developing a new design.
